I hear that the NHL Swedes who won the gold will not be playing in tonight's game (as well as Fin Koivu for the Habs) because of a celebration in Stockholm last night.
The most affected? The Red Wings, missing 5 regulars.

I dont know about that. If they dont show up they will be docked pay. I know the Sedins will be in Calgary for the Canucks-Flames game tonight.
And why would Koivu be out?

Yes, they are all most likely to be docked pay, but they felt like the celebration party was worth it. (What's a couple grand to millionaires?)
Think you might be wrong about the Sedins...
(From TSN.ca)
The Canucks hope for a boost down the stretch from twins Daniel and Henrik Sedin, who are fresh off winning the gold medal with Team Sweden. Both players were in Stockholm for a celebration on Monday, and will likely be out of the lineup tonight.
Canucks also missing Salo and Ohlund to injury....LOVE THE FLAMES tonight.
Koivu asked GM Gainey for the night off....and was granted it. You have to understand these guys played 8 games in 12 nights, and are coming off a red-eye overseas flight. If I was a GM, I wouldn't want them to play....too risky.

Looks like the books are on top of this info.
Canucks open as a huge Dog +180
Red Wings open at +145
These would both be normally close to pick'ems with full rosters.

Yeah, looks like the wings are out for sure, and the Sedins will play. But they'll be tired!

The Canucks are in a lot of trouble tonight versus the flames. Auld will have to steal one here for sure unless Naslund and Bertuzzi can produce.
