I just took one of the worst beats of my young poker life. :mad:
Its a $15 NL tourney and we're just about to wittle the field down to the final 40 and be in the money. Its 2 hrs and 20 mins into the tournament and 3 short-stacks are stalling to make the money. As they girl-fight each other to see who will make that final 40th spot I'm sitting in 25th with a lttle over 7k. Unfortunately one of the stallers is at my table and he has a friend. They both utilze the max. time alloted per player. This goes on for an entire round that we end up not making it through.
Just when it looked like the final 40 would be determined (each of the 3 stallers had less than 1k at this point and the bb was 800) I get As-Ks. There is no way I'm not playing this and I raise from 800 to 2400. I get a call. Flop is 5h-Ac-6d. The pot is around 7k and I have a little less than 4k left so I push in. I get called and numbnuts shows Ah-3d! Are you fuking kidding! Turn 4d. River ... yup, you guessed it , a 3.
I finish in 41st and one spot out of the cash instead of moving into the top ten with 15k. Sick way to go. Dickless goes on to finish 28th. To have played well enough to get where i was after making the right decisions and getting my money in with the best hand I still get tossed one spot out of the money by A-rag. FUCK! :mad:

btw, I did not target the two victims in the title thread intentionally I instead went to google and typed in "famous beatings" and volia , the first two listings were the Rodster and the poet.
