he always talks about that...a lot of announcers do....al michaels talks about it on MNF all the time...lets face it, sports would be about 1 millionth as popular if no one wagered on them

always talks about that stuff. i cant believe they let him do it in such an obvious manner but he's been doing it for years so i gues they dont care at this point.

al michaels does it in jest at the end of blowouts, like if a team is lining up for a FG down 17 points or something and the line is 15 he'll go, "there's plenty of interest in this FG if you know what i mean."

musberger is just blatant about mentioning it, though. he's says the actual number every game like, "the buckeyes are a 4 point favorite in this one this one FOLKS and the badgers lead by 10 with 8 mins to go" or something. it's funny. last week he couldn't stop talking about the O/U in the Washington/UCLA game because the first half was curiously low scoring.
