Robert Walker from the MGM-Mirage said,"this was the most disappointing super bowl outcome ever.Seattles quarterback has a ten time better game than the Steelers QB throwing nearly 300 yards. Seattle's running back in Alexander ran for almost a methodical 100 yards, while the Steelers ground game was non existent except for one play. Consider this, Big Ben had ZERO TD's and two interceptions with THE WORST QB rating in super bowl history, and yet Seattle doesn't cover. Seattle was clearly the better team stopped by mysterious penalties and two key missed field goals one causing them the first half cover. The smart money lost big and the first graders won big.We are very disappointed with LVSC, the group responsible for the lines. Obviously, they did not factor in that Detroit was Bettis's hometown and Detroit is a neighboring town to Pittsburgh that gave them the home field advantage and the zebras proved that to be correct. It disgusts me to see so many points taken away in a super bowl like what Seattle went through. Again, keep in mind Big Ben for the Steelers had a QB rating of 22!!! Yes. 22.Not just the worst in Super Bowl history, but in playoff football history for a victorious team. This is a travesty for the NFL when a winning QB to win a game with such a dismal rating of 22!!! You may call me a sore loser. But, here in Vegas we have all the stats and in the history of NFL football less than 3% of teams in the regular season or playoffs that have a QB that had a rating below 25 only won less than 3% of their games and it happens in the super bowl? A disgrace of a super bowl and the super bowl was a perfect picture how bad the refs were this year. Oh one more thing. How many first downs did this super bowl Steelers have in the first quarter? Oops!!! ZERO"

How many times did the refs knock that ball out of Stevens hands, hmmm. Did they block those field goals too? How many chances did Seattle have to take the lead between the end of the 3rd and middle of the 4th quarter and not succeed? The Defense showed up for this game. 5 out of the last 6 or so, the best Defense has won the superbowl, the only exception was when St. Louis beat Tenn. Barely. We all knew Seattle played damn near nobody going into this game, Thats why a number 6 team was favored over a number 1 ranked team. AFC is just WAAAYYYY better than the NFC right now. I don't know how anyone could have thought Seattle would win this game. You can't play cupcakes all year , get the rushing TD record by running 18 TD's on the Cards, 49ers, Texans, and the Crushing St. Louis Defenses and be a number 1 seed and expect to get respect from Vegas. That's exactly what happened to the almighty Colts. No Strength of Schedule and Ran into a bee swarm, hell of a Defense in this World Champion Steeler team. The game wasn't that greatest, but the outcome was expected. Both teams had good chances to win this game, no doubt about it. And the best team won. Just wish Pitt. showed up in 1st half.

you can't tell me the outcome wouldn't have been different if not for all the "phantom" calls on Seattle. I had no money on this game nor did i care who won. But the calls were rediculous. You can call PI or holding on every single play in the NFL...and they choose those spots to do so?........on marginal calls at best?....and all the calls go against one team?.....and of the 7 penalties and bad calls, 2 negated scores, 1 negated a huge runback and another gave PIT a TD they didn't deserve, and another was a 15 yard penalty on a guy tackling someone....and you're going to tell me that none of that mattered. If SEA scores that TD early, who knows how the game ends up. The officiating was awful, PIT wasn't any better than SEA in this game. I think is an absolute travesty that officiating could play this big a role in a game...and i am a fan of neither team and lost or won no money on the game. Unbiased to the hilt............

phantom calls ?

1 --- if the WR does not "stiff arm" the db .................. its a no call and a TD, all the WR had to do was not touch the DB and he scores. The fault is on the WR for purposely trying to gain an advantage .............. not the ref who called him for illegal contact

2 --- I saw and called holding on that RT before the flag was thrown, he was beat off the corner and acted in desperation. I played OL and coached OL and I know holding when i see it.

first of all i agree with SportsDaddy & Sporticuz...

all year ive been trying to tell people to respect the steelers.. but very few wants to even TRY to do that.

I mean look back on the playoff games for the steelers..

after bungal game: "blah blah fair hit or intentional, would they have won if they palmer didnt go down" = no respect

after colts game: which first of all 90% of people were sayin it would be just like the monday night game. we come in and shoke the hell outta peyton..the blitz frightened the hell outta him. yet people just say "well if peyton woulda had a normal game like he usually has" BULLSHIT he doesnt normally play the steelers D. The colts O line didnt even know what to do with the rush comin after him...People called it a fluke just cuz poster boy peyton wouldnt make it to the super bowl like people wanted him to.

after denver game: first of all denver couldnt even hang like the last 2 games. colt game wasnt even close. if u thought it was u just read the scorebox that night n didnt even watch it so dont talk. ..then when we won the game people said ohhh i dont even wanna watch the game. i didnt want to see the steelers in it.

the hell with that. the steelers are the best team and they proved it. if you dont want to watch the best team play then dont. but i admitt id rather see them play someone other than the seahawks. what do they have? oh that guy who puts up meaningless yards in meaningless games against horrible teams. i knew this wouldnt be anywhere near a good ball game.

BUT DONT GIVE ME ANYTHING ABOUT SEAHAWKS GETTING CHEATED!

steelers got cheated all through out the playoffs n didnt bitch once. they kept at it and stepped up huge a few times. Polamalu didnt catch that ball n so on?

watch the replays on SC and tell me the seahawks were honestly cheated.. he extended his hand, he held..BOTH GOOD CALLS. and the ben goalline it looks like hes in to me. but it is close. But what about that hit Ike had that caused the fumble. yes fumble which he called incomplete. catch...step...step... BAM..fumble... so dont say the steelers got cheated. oh and good thing we got rid of josh brown huh.. what a good game he had haha.

and for useless info: the parade was insane.. dick started a chant of OAKLAND SUCKS, to persuade wisenhower..that was somethin. and polamalu lettin his hair out n crowd surfin. NO team in the NFL has the mix of fan support/coaching staff/tough/disiplined players that the Steelers got. . SORRYYY PLEXXXX
GO STEELERS:yeah:
