I jumped on at the beginning of January and am 31-0 so far.

Explanation:

The Roadtrip system is basically play against the rodie. All trips we play are at least 3 games long.

FOR EXAMPLE: Toronto starts a 3 Game road trip, traveling to Ottawa, Montreal and New York... this will be a SERIES

Game 1: OTTAWA -150 vs. Toronto
Bet: OTTAWA (Wager 1.5 UNITS to WIN 1 UNIT)
Result: Toronto Win. 1.5 UNITS LOST

Game 2: MONTREAL -110 vs. Toronto
Bet: MONTREAL (Wager 2.75 UNITS to WIN 2.5 UNITS)
Result: If Montreal Wins, we recover the 1.5 UNITS LOST in Game 1 and realize a PROFIT of 1 UNIT. The SERIES is OVER.
If Toronto Wins, we must wager enough in Game 3 to recover the 2.75 UNIT Wager that was Lost in Game 2 while still trying to realize a PROFIT of 1 UNIT, as follows:

Game 3: NEW YORK -125 vs. Toronto
Bet: NEW YORK (Wager 4.7 UNITS to WIN 3.75 UNITS)
Result: If New York Wins, we recover the 2.75 UNITS Lost on Game 2 and PROFIT by 1 UNIT for the SERIES. If Toronto Wins and they sweep the SERIES we have a NET LOSS of 4.7 UNITS.
If there were 118 SERIES remaining of the original 171 for the season, we would look to recover the 4.7 UNITS Lost by dividing it up over the remaining 118 SERIES (4.7/118 = 0.04 UNITS). Our NEW GOAL for the remaining 118 SERIES would be to realize a PROFIT of 1.04 UNITS per SERIES.

So basically is playing against the road team and raising your bet to win one unit and what you've lost until you win it. With a bit of patience it works.

for the whole season, its @116-6.

the oilers just swept their trip, but i swayed a little from the system and played them a game early. they were on the road in SJ, then home, THEN started the trip. I ignored the home game and played the others like it was a 4 game trip...lucky i did,that was their only loss.

be careful as the season comes to an end, as it may take quite a few trips to makeup losses.

also be prepared to wager up to and over 10* on a single game, just to win 1*...

Well, my first mistake was going against the system.

The reason it got so high is because they started the trip by playing St. Louis then Columbus. So they were huge favorites. Plus, I was playing it for 2 units to start.

the last two times ottawa has been on a trip, i bet them to win. both times they lost the first game..once even the first two. so i'm gonna put my faith in the system and bet them to lose...hell, the home teams will all be +$$, so i won't have to make up much if it blows up on me.

At this moment, i sit slightly better than even, overall on the system. the reason i can't make the play is due to my hubris and i will take the hit with a lesson learned. i will finish the trip tonight, but only for 1*.

i've been working out a system where i play a team that goes on the road to play 3 teams for at least 3 games per series. if i win a game on the first team, i play for a second win. if the home team sweeps the first series i play for only one win from the next two teams...make sense?

Interesting system. I suppose it's not that much different from the NHL system. You may have to wager more at times though...

yeah...i based it on the nhl system. i researched the top 6 teams from last year, and it was 100% on them. this is my first season betting on baseball, so i 'm not familiar w/ the lines...thats why i just want to build my bankroll back up for it and am not too concerned with the columbus debacle.
