Good night last night going 2-0 and now back to .500 on my posted plays (2-2)

A whole slew of games tonight, but I'm finding it very difficult night to predict. Here's a couple I'm on

1* Vancouver and Detroit OVER 6 1/2 (-120)
Vancouver comes in losing 2 straight to Columbus and St. Louis of all teams. Crawford will get the Canucks motivated early in this one, as they were down the entire game versus the Blue Jackets and will play their wide open game to try and get up early. Detroit, who comes in has also lost 2 straight games to the Predators will also be motivated to score. The reason is because they stumbled into a hot goalie in Tomas Vokoun who allowed only 3 goals in the 2 games vs. the Wings. With Ed Jovanovski out after getting re-injured in his last game and Vancouver's weak goaltending, there should be no reason for both teams to score at least 3 each. Detroit is 3rd in the NHL in goals behind only Ottawa and Carolina and they will surely enjoy playing the Canucks who play their wide open style of hockey. I'm hoping to see a final 5-3 type game here.

2* Tampa Bay and New Jersey OVER 5 1/2 (-118)
The line is the reason I'm placing this bet. TB had the unfortunate situation of facing Roberto Luongo a couple of nights ago at home and after putting on a parade of shots (50 in total) and scoring only 2 goals had the Lightning crowd booooing near the end of the game. Tampa Bay now gets one of the better goalies in the league Martin Brodeur. But because TB only got 2 goals in their last game I'm banking on 3 or 4 in this one. New Jersey on the other hand has been a scoring machine in their last 10. Scoring 3 or more goals in 9 of their past 10 and most of that credit goes to the Elias line. I see no reason why N.J can't score at least 3 against the suspect goaltending of these Lighting. Both Burke and Graham have been horrible lately! What really makes the over look good in this game is that the last 2 times these teams played eachother the toal scores equaled (19) - 8-2 for NJ in November and 6-3 TB in October. The line is out of whack and we must take advantage of this!

May be back to add 1 or 2 later.....Looking at the Leafs over Buffalo and San Jose over Anaheim.

Good Luck as always guys!!!

BRUTAL NIGHT!!!! ALL 4 teams combined (NJ, TB, DET, VAN) and it still would have gone UNDER!!! unbelievable 4 goals between the 4 teams combined.

Ah well (2-4) record.

Adding SAN JOSE (-205) over Anaheim
