In the Jazz game he left with 3 fouls and never returned. Is he injured?

Sorry it's so long..... Hope this helps!
If you saw Monday’s game in Utah, you got a glimpse of what the New Jersey Nets are capable of without Vince Carter.
Losing.
The Jazz cruised to an easy 11-point victory in a game the oddsmakers had pegged as a pick ‘em. New Jersey shot 33 percent and scored fewer than 80 points for just the fourth time this season.
It`s safe to say it probably had something to do with the injury Carter suffered a few minutes into the game.
New Jersey’s leading scorer was sent crashing to the floor when Utah’s Gordan Giricek made like a running back and plowed into him in a play that sounded as painful as it looked.
Carter said after the game he landed on his lower back, which seemed to throw him off for the rest of the game. He shot 2-14 and scored five points.
"I`m a little sore," Carter said. "It kind of went bad when I fell on the floor. It just wasn`t the same. Then I fell again and it stiffened up on me. I just couldn`t get it loose. It was hard to shoot the ball like I wanted to shoot it."
He went on to play nearly 29 minutes in the game, but Lawrence Frank took him out midway through the fourth quarter even as the Nets were trying to climb back in the game.
"I was going to give it a try," said Carter. "If (it didn`t loosen up), I was going to sit down. He beat me to it."
The All-Star swingman isn’t on the Nets’ injured list, but the team probably won’t know if he’ll be healthy for Wednesday’s game against the Clippers in Los Angeles until game time.
Carter suffered a back injury at Golden State on Nov. 21 that forced him to miss the next game, but he says this is different.
"A totally different area," he said. "It`s my lower back."
Since he was traded to New Jersey last December, Carter has faced the Clippers twice with his current team. Both ended in Nets victories and both times he led the scoring with 35 and 31 points.
Odds are not yet available for this game.

well if Carter is out then La Clippers are going to take this one. They are going off to wins against the Warriors.
