Each Tuesday night at 9pm EST, a tournament will be held for members of our forum. This is a great form of comraderie as evidenced by a few freerolls we've had and a heck of a lot of fun. Try it once and you'll be hooked.
We're keeping the stakes small to keep the game a friendly one. The reason we chose <a href="http://www.paradisepoker.com?adv_id=a_826b_1">Paradise Poker</a> is because their one of the best poker rooms on the web and their real good at processing credit cards even from U.S. players.
We believe this will really pick up momentum and progressively grow over time. It really is a heck of a lot of fun. Your also able to have a live chat with the other players at the table which is a blast!
As with any multi table poker tournament, all entry fees collected by the poker room will be paid out by a % scale based on how many players are in the weekly tournament.

<b>How the Poker League part of it will work:</b> Each "season" will last 10 weeks. Players accrue points based on their finish:
1st: 5 points
2nd: 4 points
3rd: 3 points
4th: 2 points
5th: 1 point
At the end of the 10 weeks, the point leader will win a free entry into a $100,000 guaranteed tournament valued at $200. Runners up MAY receive Paradise Poker apparel as "booby prizes." *We're trying to get some goodies from them.
A little bird on my shoulder told me that if this is very successful and consistenly running with a bunch of players that Paradise may pony up a free entry to the MASTERS which is a big fat tournament with a prize pool in the millions!
The weekly tournament itself is great fun and worth playing in. The league part of it is to add to the fun and give a little incentive to grab a shot at some big loot and also have your name on our leaderboard which will be posted in a sticky at the top of our poker forum which we are going to start actively promoting to gain some good poker discussion in here.

If you miss a week or two dont sweat it. Everybody is always in it with that 5 pointer out there for winning the weekly tournament.
