Come on, the Pats deserve their own thread. For the first time in the playoffs in the Brady era. Denver is a very tough team and going in I figured the game was a 50/50 shot but watching it play out was awful. It felt not so much like Denver took the game but, rather, that N.E. gave it to them. 3 fumbles, 2 on kickoffs. An interception in the endzone returned to their own 1yd line. A phantom defensive pass interference call, a fumble out the endzone that wasn't called... nothing seemed to work out for the Pats tonight.

I am a neutral party in this and the champ bailey call was definately right.

The pass interference was definately the wrong call.

Other than that, your Patriots got outplayed brother.

I pretty much agree with both of you.

The pass interference that led to the first Broncos first TD was bullshit. Complete bullshit.

I saw nothing on the replays that led me to believe that Bailey fumble was anything other than out at the 1 though, or any evidence that they should have overturned that call....and I'd LOVE to hear the case of anyone who did.

I also agree that New England gave the game away, mostly with their horrid special teams play. Denver played well, don't get me wrong, but they far from capitalized on their chances early and the game was NE's game to win long about mid 2nd qtr, and even through the 3rd, despite giving up the 10 freebees before half, but the pick in the end zone and then the 3rd special teams fumble ended all hopes of that.

All the "breaks" definitely did seem to fall in Denver's favor tonight too.
