Went 3-2 last weekend....for whatever that's worth.
Washington Redskins +9.5 (-105)
2 units
I was undecided on this game mostly all week, but the more I thought about it, the more Washington seems to be the sensible play here, despite the fact that I hate to play dogs whom the public is playing on.
Skins had the toughest SOS in the league and Seattle had like the worst.
So the Seabags won the rough and rugged NFC West, lol....beating SF, Arizona and St Louis 2 times each in the process. That spells 6 guaranteed wins to me for any decent team.
Then there's their other 7 wins...over Tennessee & Houston (self explanatory), a Philly team that was in dismay with no McNabb and no Owens, Indy who wasn't even trying, the Giants, a decent team, but one who showed they weren't quite ready to be a contender last weekend getting by pushed all over the field by Carolina, and close home wins against overrated Dallas and Atlanta, teams who didn't even make the playoffs.
SO what have they really done? Not a hell of alot, except lose to Washington and Jacksonville.
I know the team with the bye wins outright at a 75% clip in this round, but I suspect Washington may be the better team here.
On the other hand, I really couldn't find a single reason to lay nearly double digits with Seattle other than what I mentioned above about teams with a bye.
So I'll take the +9.5 points and see how it turns out.

I am going with Washington as well, but very conservatively.
I am hitting New England at +3.5 much stronger for the later game.

John Hall sucks.
It pains me to do this right now, but if Denver wins, It'll be ok, lol.
DESPITE liking New England in this game, I have played this parlay...
Denver ML -150
Indy ML -450
2.16 units to win 2.24 units
#1. I have either sucked this week, or been the victim of tough breaks, poor play, or bad calls....so this game should be no different.
#2. I am not dumb enough to be on a road underdog that has 81% on them and the line hasn't budged.
GOTTA take a shot against that 81% on the road dog that looks "easy". Despite liking NE myself, I'm certainly not above getting "suckered in", and I sure as hell felt like I was had I played on NE.
We'll see.....

81 percent on the pats r u serious

Yea, was 81% on the Pats MONEYLINE when I made the wager....dropped to 79% from then until game time.
That's one of the things I like to look at. If the public thinks a dog looks SO sweet that they are taking the ML instead of the points, it's usually a good idea to go the other way.
With that being said, this game is turning out to be a great example of why I didn't want to bet on Denver, even though all the numbers were telling me to do so. They finally scored now and got the lead (as a result of a turnover and a questionable pass interference call), but instead of 7-3, it really should be like 17-3 or 21-3 Denver.
Denver is completely dominating this game, but piss poor play calling at the goal line (what the fuck were they doing with that goofy lob pass on 4th & 1?) and that God awful pass by Plummer that got intercepted (shoulda never tried to get that in there in that situation) is keeping this game close....

Brady's God offil pass put NE in a tough spot. They have to score right away here in the 4th quarter.

Yea it did. Neither team has impressed me much here. Both doing way too many stupid things.
Denver with the idiotic play calling.
New England horrid special teams with the fumbles on the kicks, and the missed FG.
Denver should have had this game put away by halftime, and they didn't....and were actually losing until the NE special teams gave em 10 free points.
Yet New England has been completely unable to capitalize.
Don't think either one of these teams has much of a shot if they have to go to Indy next week unless they're gonna do a little better than this.

3rd New England special teams miscue....
It has been the complete story of this game.
Looks like I'll end up on the right side with Denver, but really not how I expected.
I bet NO ONE said in write up that NE would give Denver the game with some of the worst special teams play ever, LOL

0-1 yesterday, but still have the parlay pending with:
Denver ML -150 (winner)
Indy ML -450 (pending)
2.16 units to win 2.24 units
Also going with...
Chicago Bears ML -125
2 units
Not that 3 is a tremendous amount of points to lay, but if they wanna give away the ML at -125 when the spread is -3 at the same book, then I'll go for that instead of laying the points.

Colts -2.5

Pittsburgh looks great now, but I still don't think they will win outright once Indy gets settled in and stops sucking on offense.
