The stars have all lined up for me tonight.......I've been salivating about this game for literally two months now. Golden State is not a reliable team.....but against the Lakers.....its another story.....they thrive for this game. Lakers are a 1 man show and Baron Davis and Richardson will do more than nutralize Kobe's scoring....the only thing that I was afraid of was the line.....but since Golden State got their asses handed to them at home recently....the line is perfect at -2........I'm all over Golden State tonight.....I'm thinking they win by 7-12 tonight....not expecting a blow out......but not a tight one either. GLTA!!!!

it being that way really. I watched the Lakers against the Cavaliers, and they are not a one man team: look at Lamar Odom's stats for that game if you think so. They actually played better for stretches when Kobe was on the bench.
The Lakers are a team without a center, pure and simple. Chris Mihm and Kwame Brown (who has not improved in the mental area at all) managed to make Ilgauskas look like he was all world, instead of the slow but proficient finesse player that he is.
Usually when I write on this board the opposite turns out to be the case, so you should cash. But provided Kobe's wrist is relatively healed, he could easily beat the mediocre, and rather disappointing Warriors by himself. Just my opinion, GL on the bet.:gulp:

Thanks Tranks, UnderDog88, Horatio, major69er, that input was much appreciated. I can't help but notice the poor play of the Lakers on the road some nights......its as if Kobe is the only one scoring at times...which isn't a problem some nights granted.....but the Portland game got my attention.......is Portland that much better than Golden State? Actually.....they're worse in my opinion..... Kobe can drop his 40 but if the others (Odom included) aren't producing it can be bad news for LA tonight.....I'm really banking on the hopes that GS is fired up considering the losses they have suffered and knowing how much they love to beat Kobe........I'd be surprised if GS isn't pumped up and ready to play.....I'm expecting a Laker loss tonight.

the Lakers are beatable by many teams, either on the road or at home.Their road record is over .500 (10-9) and home record 9-8. Golden State an even 9-9 at home. These teams are middle of the pack, except they happen to both have two all star level players. Of theose four players, however, Kobe is in a class by himself. I do not like the way he plays (he seems to be doing Michael Jordan in reverse:Michael started scoring less but winning more, whereas Kobe started out winning championships, and now is into the 40 points a game me first mode.)
Good luck.I think I am taking a pass on it as it seems too close to call for me.
