Spurs are 4-1 ATS with 2 days rest or more this season.

Over thier last five games:

Portland has been scoring 87.6 and SA defense has been allowing 90.0.

Onthe flipside SA has been scoring 96.5 while Portland has been allowing 94.8.

Strong Offense/Strong Defense vs. Weak Offense/Weak Defense usually means big win.

SA is 4-6 ATS over their last 10 but 3-0 in their last 3 games.

With fresh legs the Spurs could definitely blow Porland out tonight.

I just hate to give 15 points in the NBA.

Good Luck if you do play.

My worry is that the spurs will slow the temp down once they are 20 points up....They are known to do this...it is easy to see that portland are crap(dont mean to offend portland fans) compared to spurs.

I see better value elsewere and theres always tomorow.

That's waht worried me about the game majid.

When SA isn't forced to play an up tempo game they can definitly allow lessor teams to stay close. They manage to win but just don't put the points on the board they need to cover.

The flip side of that is they're coming off a big rest. And if they come out fresh and shooting well they could lead this game by 15 at the half.

Tough call, it's why I left it alone.

I agree with all the above comments; abravefan11, majid.

Portland has been playing decent, not great, lately and SAS has a tendancy to playing with their like the oposition at times. 15 is a lot to give up in any pro game. With a low total (183) you'd tend to think of keeping Portland under 80 and the Spurs playing in the mid 90's..possible but I can't see it. Portland may play bad enough to keep it close?? My numbers show 94-89 Spurs and that to me is enough to look at something more appealing, like the heat, mavs or 76ers maybe, yet stay off Portland +15 too. I personally don't trust either team to go one way or the other. JMO

P.S. I also suck so bad on sides anyway so I may be way off base here too!

GL on your decision!

I kept an eye on this game and it was one of the rare times that the spurs continued playing until the end even with a massive lead. As mentioned before and by others they do like to slow the game down...Portland have been a joke. That win against Philly has cursed them big style.

One thing to watch with Portland is that they do not play against uptempo teams very well. Teams like the Suns will blow em off the court every time cause they just don't have the shooters or overall team speed to keep up....yet they seem to play decently at home, and also against teams who like to play more of a half court game because they have the size inside to rebound and get to the line.

As far as the Spurs go....I don't know what to think of em right now. It seems at times that they are just crusing thru thru the regular season waiting for the playoffs, and I don't trust em to cover these big lines.

Now that Manu is back, things may be different though. They really aren't nearly as good without him.

Glad you guys cashed last night with em though
