Everyone knows (i think, lol) that Pittsburgh, Carolina and Washington are the last 3 teams with "win and in" scenarios, and their lines have obviously been adjusted accordingly. TB can clinch the division with a win over the Aints, but are already in the playoffs. Dallas and KC can also still make the postseason with some help....and their lines have been adjusted accordingly as well.

What I believe was overlooked is the #3/#4 seed battle between the Bengals and Patriots in the AFC. I think the Bengals actually have more to play for than the Chiefs do today cause the Steelers ain't gonna lose at home to the Lions, which means the Chiefs are done. Cincinnati on the other hand can clinch #3 with a win, which means no chance of going to Indy till the AFC championship game....not that going to Denver is much better, but in any case, I'm sure Cincinnati has motivation to win today and get the #3.

Same goes for NE. A NE win and Cincinnati loss gives NE the #3 seed.

#3 seed is also obviously important because (assuming they both win in the wildcard round), if #3 upsets #2 in the divisional round, and #4 upsets #1, guess who hosts the AFC championship game.

I'd say these 2 have something to play for....but their lines are not reflecting it like all of the others.

I do too. I am definitely taking Cincinnati + the points, and I might hop on the ML for a unit too, even though KC has that post December 1st home winning streak. This may be the day it goes down.

I also am interested in the Bills/Jets game. Being a Bills fan and following the team, I know they are very disappointed in their season which didn't come close to meeting expectations, and are using the end of this season to build on for next year, and will give a full effort today.

What I'm not sure about is the mindset of the Jets. They were also supposed to be decent this year, and sucked. Have they already packed their bags for warmer destinations, or are they gonna try and go out on a positive note too?

Jets players will be auditioning for next season as this team is expected to see alot of personnel changes. So whether it be for the Jets or some other team all these players will bring their A game as it could have serious impact on their paychecks.

Maybe before Vermeil's announcement. I'm not real sure Cincy wants to play Pittsburgh right now either in RNd 1. I think they prefer Jacksonville. Cincy is set to rest several key starters. I do think the line is inflated here at 10, so Cincy + the points is tempting, but KC gets the "W"

The Vermeil thing is why I didn't play the Bengals ML. I think KC will want to win this game for him....but by double digits? It's possible of course, but I believe the Bengals don't wanna go into the playoffs like that and will want to be competitive. Any other week this would be like KC -2....so I'll take the value.
