Houston texans v san fran on 1-1-06
with the #1 pick on the line. who will be scoring in this game? the over under is set at 37. I will be surprised if anyone scores in this one. It will be the case of I don't want the ball here you take it. I will be watching this comedy show like the improv. Should be full of laughs.
san fran 3 houston 0
Houston is the better team here but I wouldnt be surprised if they sit carr out on this one.

Naw...

I don't think even a FG...

The only way they can score points in this game is a safety! That is when they will actually try and stop them!

Houston - 4 SF - 2!

HAHAHA

Its the BUSH Bowl!

Guys- this isn't the "bush bowl". SF has almost zero chance of getting the pick even if they lose. NINE different games would have to go their way to get into a coin toss to get the pick. They are playing to win according to several writers close to the team.

not only would san fran not get him, i dont think they can afford ot pay another 1st overall pick!!!! houston needs other things besides another running back.... hell he may go to the jets or packers! there will be scoring in this game

agreed....a beat writer for SF said they would trade the top pick if in that position...they need a lot of players and after putting all their eggs in a couple of baskets this past year, they realize they need A LOT of players....one RB isn't going to get them where they need to go...

Daws, I understand that Houston dont need a RB but if they get the first round pick it is alot of leverage to get alot more than not getting a shot at him at all.

Race for Bush
The race for Reggie
Bush is on and the
Houston Texans lead
the way. If the Houston Texans lose this week then Reg-gie is in the Texan’s pocket but if Houston wins and the New Orleans Saints lose then the Saints have the #1 pick. The N. Y. Jets, Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers all have a slim chance at the Hiesman Trophy Winner

If the 49ers had any sense at all, they'd ditch "little hands" Alex Smith and get a real QB....maybe even a journeyman who could hold down the fort while they get a few more of the pieces in place...but nah, they'll continue to draft first round losers and pay them tons of $$$ to suck and be unproductive.
