BB....you know he IS right......it's not a series, or it would truley resemble a playoff format.....it's one game winner take all, the rest is all for money and tv ratings. Games involving teams ranked lower than #2 really mean nothing as far as the national championship. Thank God Joe said it cause he's for the schools and players not for the money as you know well.......

he is dead on joe, it is kinda sad, that unlike BB, in the NCAA tourney, there is a cinderella story every yr. with the BCS, that is not possible in football. i cant speak for other, but i enjoy the cinderella teams!!!

Cinderella teams and everyone having a shot (all be it a very small one for many, lol) is what makes March Madness great.

The "BCS" sucks....and there's no reason why they couldn't have the top 4 teams in CFB all with a shot at the title.

What's one more game?

JoePa has a legit gripe too.....not only on the basis he states, but also because his team has a more than legit shot of beating either USC or Texas this year....and had they not lost at the last second at Michigan, they'd be taking it up the butt right now at 11-0 and not in the title game, just like Auburn last year.

Another thing that annoys the holy hell out of me is that they keep saying Southern Cal is going for their 3rd straight national championship.

Bullshit.

LSU won the BCS national title by beating Oklahoma 2 years ago....
