Sunday: Detroit +3 (-125) (POD)

The public is hammering Minnesota hard yet this line is juiced on Detroit and in some places dropped down to 2.5 earlier in the week. Minnesota is much weaker on the road, sports one of the worst pass defenses in the league up against the Lions 11th rated pass D. Detroit at home is decent and has covered vs. Minnesota 7 out of the last 10 times they played. Detroit has lost two consecutive only scoring 7 vs. Atlanta and Dallas so there is some possibility their offense could open up this week, or at least it can be said they are due. Revenge game as well for Detroit and with a new (interim) head coach. Minnesota has won four in a row but the only real quality win was against the Giants IMO and they are overdue for a loss.

Adding:

Cleveland +3

Well, I gotta try one of the games that falls into the cold weather system and I think this is the best spot. Cold weather and snow in Cleveland against the Jags who live and practice in temperatures in the 80's +. This would be a third consecutive road win for the Jags which is NOT easy to do in the NFL. This is another situation where the public is all over the other side. It's all about perception in this one, with Jax clearly the better team but then why just a line of 3? Because the boys in Vegas know this is a tough situation for the Jags, who are also missing their starting QB. Two of the three Jags losses have come on the road.
