finally won an OT game this year....maybe we're back in business...had a nice 3 or 4 day run.....
COL -170..............................time to see if BUF is for real. IMO, they are playing well, but have built this 8-1-1 streak vs. some crappy and injured teams. Their wins are vs. WAS (2), an injured MON team (2), an awful PIT team, an awful BOS team, NJD in the midst of a slump 10 games ago without Brodeur, an average NYI team and the NYR at home in OT. Not exactly OTT, PHI, TAM, CAR etc......or COL. In fact, they really haven't beaten anyone of note. BUF is still injured and COL just has way too many weapons. I normally would leave this one alone, but after how COL played so poor the 2nd and 3rd periods in VAN, and how well they have played at home of late, i think they are a good play here. BUF has not faced 1 single team in all those i mentioned near as good as COL. COL rolls 3 solid lines at you and 3 solid defense pairings. That should expose BUF depth due to injuries. COL has outscored opponents 53-39 in 13 home games and owns a top 10 PK and PP at HOME. COL doesn't play again until meeting BOS at home on WED, so there should be no look ahead factor. They have been off since WED and should be well rested. BUF is playing 3I4 here, as well.
