#12 Illinois came through in a big way for me last night, which was just what I needed after a tough Monday...
Possible Plays:
Temple -1.5
I know a lot of people like Temple and I think it's 'cuz how they handled business against Miami. They had a great defense and their shooting in the game against the 'Canes was good as well. They played nationally ranked UCLA tough on the road, and even though UCLA is overrated, it showed that Temple can play.
Creighton -4.5
Like DJ said, this line is moving very fast and I'm hoping to get on it early. I see Creighton winning by about 10-15 points in this one.
Wichita St. -8
Wichita St. is a good mid-major team who lost to Illinois by one point. Providence has not impressed me at all this year (especially Monday night), but if this line keeps moving up I might stay away from it. I liked it a 6 and I kinda like it at 8 but we'll see what happens closer to tip-off.
Marquette +4.5
Nebraska is 4-0 and 4-0 at home and but they haven't played anyone tough. Marquette is coming off a good showing in the Great Alaskan shootout, a tough tourney to play in given the location. Even if Marquette loses tonight, I think it will stay close the whole time.
UTEP -5
UTEP is a decent team and New Mexico St. is not. They both played West New Mexico with UTEP winning 78-51 and NMSU winning 83-51. It should be a good game but UTEP controls the boards well and that should help them tonight.
Pacific -2
San Francisco stinks, they are not a good team. However, Pacific is struggling on the road which is why I do not know about this one. However, I find myself liking Pacific more and more each time I look at this game.
