Just a question to some of the members that have been here for awhile. Why do some of the good cappers lay off the final 1-2 weeks of the reagular season? Is it because these rivalry games and some teams not playing for much except pride are to hard to cap (to many variables)? I would like some input from those of you still hitting the nail, also some that have abstained from the urge to give the man back his money. This may help me in the future. Always looking to better my capping skills, we all know they need it.
BUT THE BOWL GAMES ARE AROUND THE CORNER$$$$

THANX....JP.

You posted this in the ncaa forum but Im kinda wondering if you dont mean nfl?

If so, the answer would be that teams rest regulars and dont really care about winning as much as they do about going into the playoffs healthy.

I cant think of any reasons to layoff ncaa football going into the last couple weeks.

in as much as I have sucked ass in college foots this year I have more than made up for my losses in NFL....but every year the last 2 weeks of the NFL season I make less wagers than normal for the exact reason Kevin just explained....to many intangibles....especially not knowing either who will play or how long they will play in the games....Eagles last year are perfect example....the walrus sat most starters the last two weeks cause they had everything sewn up.....

Thanks for the input. I know it's not an earth shattering question, but just something i have noticed for a couple years now. And the fact that I have picked the wrong teams this time of year for the past few years. Seem to make up for it in bowl games.
gl the rest of the year gents....
