Four plays for today:
Chiefs -3 WINNER
The Chiefs need this game desperately if they have any notions of playoffs. Home game against the defending champs, who are a mere shell of what they have been the past few years. I think LJ has a field day again. Dillon has already been announced as out, leaving a suspect running game even more suspect....against a damn good run defense. Pats have given up more sacks than usual....not a good thing when playing at Arrowhead!
Rams -3 WINNER
Houston - no run D, Jackson will do what LJ did to them last week.
Vikes -4 WINNER
Tailing SkinsFan on this one. Like it as well!
Jags/Cards U 42 WINNER
With Taylor probably out, the Jags offense will take a big hit. The Cards offense will be slowed down considerably by the Jags as well.
GL everyone!!

bol pickem ..not playing the game but will be planted in front of that kc patriot game with my buddy (whose a chief fan) at the local bar (im a patriot fan)..seen all the pats games this year and a good majority of chief games this year..just finsihed talkin with my buddy about the game..obviously like you im going to go with "my team"..my friend was telling me how lj's gonna go for 150+ against the pats ..i personally dont think he'll have that field day and will be held under 100 yds..not looking at stats just what ive seen but the patriots really arent as bad against the run as it seems there hyped to be..seymour finally back there d at least as far as the line is looking like there getting to top form..the linebackers outside of bruschi arent the greatest (esp mr ex chief monty beisel) but i think the pats will contain the running game..passing game with trent green now thats a whole nother story..pats secondary stinks with really the only brightspot being samuel and even thats not that bright..the d line the last 2 games has been really good geting pressure on the qb which is a must for them in passing situations..if trent green gets any sort of time to pass the ball he should be able to with really good success and i think thats how the chiefs if there going to score some points will score..other side of the ball as a patriot i almost wish theyd have brady just drop back and throw the ball every play instead of handing it to anyone not named dillon..heath evans(think faulk might be back) has done pretty good filling in and should get his 60 yds to keep the d somewhat honest but brady should be all throw throw throw against the chiefs secondary and your secondary i would say is better than the pats but not by that overwhelming of a margin...side factor bill's dad dying take that for whatever its there though...i really expect a shootout tomorrow with it coming down to bradys arm vs greens arm = winner of the game =brady and the pats...who knows will see soon..the way ive been lately the chiefs will kill the pats and lj will go for 200+.....best of luck to the chiefs though for the rest of the season after this game
like the other 3 picks

Thanks GoPaul....
I've been tagged a bandwagon fan of the Patriots more times that I can count. The problem is, I've been a Pats fan longer than I've been a Chiefs fan!! Not that I need to explain myself, but I grew up in Michigan (a Lions fan, of course). Come to find out, the Francis family have been friends of ours from WAY back. Russ used to I quickly became a Pats fan (1974) and have been following them ever since. I've only been a Chiefs fan since 1985 (a few years after we moved here). So anyway, I've been through all the VERY lean years (early 70's, 80's, and 90's), as well as the SB Championships!
Ok, so anyway, LOL.....I'm well aware of the Pats strengths and shortcomings and I believe the Chiefs will run on them today. Roaf is back, although I did just now hear that Eddie Kennison is questionable. I don't think the Pats can run on the Chiefs, and unless the Pats have improved their pass blocking tremendously, Tom could be in trouble today. I'm quite certain he'll get his couple of TD passes though. I normally cheer for the Pats in these games, but since I think the Chiefs have a better chance of doing something in the playoffs (which isn't saying much), I'll be cheering for them today. Plus, I have money on them! LOL
Bottom line:
Chiefs 30
Pats 20
GL today!!!

BOL PE4F!!
I like most of your plays.. You are a brave man betting on the Rams.. I know Houston sucks but this is the same Ram's team that got spanked by the mighty Cards at home last week. Prolly no play for me but I hope you nail it... It does appear based on last weeks game that the Texans have mailed it in for the year and appear to be fighting amongst themsleves.. Nail'em my man!!

bandagon fan been called that to many times..one of those things that happen no matter who wins..had no ideap you were a pats fan as well..just assumed kc with your location...i just have this feeling that lj will be shut down whish i coulod have that same feeling of shuting down trent..the pats will more than likely win the afc east so thell at least be in the playoffs hosting teh first game in foxboro..come wek 1 in the playoffs the chiefs will probobly be home on there couchs partly due to there tough division...once there in the playoffs who knows .now the $ part that i totally understand..off to the bar

Well, the game pretty much went exactly as I expected. Glad the Chiefs covered, but man it was disappointing to see Tom throw 4 picks. Even if 3 of them were tipped by his own guys to Greg Wesley.
Hope the Pats can pull it together and win out.....and hopefully the Chiefs can do the same!

just got home congrats on the win .wow did you get lucky on the rams...trent 19-26 323 yds 1td 0 int brady 22-40 248 1 td 4 interceptions..theres the winner trent and the chiefs..couple of those interceptions werent his fault but even some of his incompletions were bad as guys were open and he was overthrowing them..got a bit excited near the end when they scored to get it at 10 but then unfortunately missed the 2 pt conversion..i still dont get why the pats dont just blitz every play..at least then if you get beat by the pass its cause your making the qb make quick decisions...pats didnt to bad against the run..lj had a 119 yards but it was on 31 carries..3 runs of over 10 yards(16,16,11)..over half his carries were for 3 or less yards..thank goodness the pats are in the afc east..hopefully back to winning ways next week at the jets

No kidding on the Rams.....I had counted it as a loss and then I saw that somehow the Rams had tied them up and were going to OT. I'd still love to know what happened there!!!
I'll take it though!!
4-0 on the day!!!

I've never seen Brady look as rattled as he did today. The Chiefs defense looked really good. I knew the Pats wouldn't be able to run the football. The Chiefs have been absolutely incredible against the run this year. I also knew that Brady would have at least one TD pass...if not 2. When they fell behind so early, they couldn't do anything else BUT pass. It's not easy to do that every down at Arrowhead with 80,000 people making all that noise. They wasted 2 TOs in the 2nd half because of the crowd noise.
The good news is that even with all the injuries the Pats have, they'll bounce back next week. I fully expect that they'll beat the Jets handily.
Hopefully at least Dillon and Givens will be back next week!!
