-There is no such thing as an incomplete pass on 3rd down for the opposing team. Even if the pass is thrown right into three defenders and tipped it'll be caught under-fucking-neath.

-All penalties are against your team.

-Up the middle rush = anywhere between -2 and +2 yards for your team and 6 to 8 yards for the opposing team.

-All interceptions occur against your team. There is no such thing as your team intercepting the ball unless it's in its own endzone.

-Betting on a good defence to cover a spread: They will hold they opponents to zero points for a while and keep scoring feild goals until the opposing team hits NOTHING but a Touchdown to make it 12-7 and cover the spread. Because you bet on the defence, your team will not score a TD unless behind by more than a TD ATS.

-A kicker making 49 of his last 50 FG attempts for under 50 yards will miss a 35 yarder just when your team is up by 7 and the spread is -9.5 with under 4 minutes remainning. You team will stop the other team 4 and out and get the ball back in the opposing team's territory but will kneel down the drive before turning it over with 30 seconds left.

Any other laws will be appreaciated.

For that law, you forgot to mention that the fact the kicker has made 49/50 is put on the TV screen and mentioned by the announcers immediately prior to the missed kick.

-Betting on a strong offence at home: From the moment the commentators mention the visiting team hasn't scored more than 1 TD on the road in any of the games thus far in the season, that team will put up at least two TDs by the half.

-Betting the Over on a very strong offence: The commentators will mention how the visiting team is scoring TDs only 33% (or any number below 50%) of the time from the red zone. Asking for that 33% to realize would be like asking for the lottery win: They will score ZERO TDs out of four red zone trips that will include:

1st and goal from the 7: FG
1st down from the 12: FG
1st and goal from the 5... 4th and Goal from inside the 6-inch line... Turnover on downs.
1st and Goal from the 9... 2nd and Goal from the 1: FUMBLE

Final score: 2 points shy of the "Over".

-When in desperate situations, your team has the ball, you are hoping for a TD, a kickoff fumbled by the other team or an interception by your team. It is very improbable. But it WILL happen: AGAINST YOUR TEAM. The other team will intercept and return for TD and your team will fumble the following kickoff.

Man if you really feel that way I would quit gambling altogether. I have been on both sides and I guess when you are losing it really seems like the way you are describing. Best of luck with your plays.

How can you expect to WIN when you are busy counting your LOSS?

I do not cap football anymore because I really suck at it. However, I do read through the posts and find what seems to be a good bet.

Your team leads 20-7 (laying 3) in the 4th quarter with 4 minutes and gives up a 50 yard pass that leads to a TD. Instead of YOUR TEAM running the ball for the first down to run out the clock, they throw on 2nd down as the ball is intercepted and returned for a TD.

What would be worse is at that point you don't want them to kick a FG to win because you won't cover anyway.

last week i had usc to win by 10

usc-10

usc intercepts ball from fresno state.....
1st goal from 8 yard line score is usc 47 fresno 42

a touchdown without xp covers...

3 weak runs and result a short 22 yard field goal.... score 50-42

no biggy right if they scored a td i cover......there is still time for a miracle int returned for td

fresno drives down length of field just to be picked off in endzone returned back as i jump from the couch seeing a miracle and wait what is he doing he running toward sidelines out of bounds and now the kneel down......

after watching many replays if the returner of the int had broke toward his left about the 27 yard line he had only 1 player to beat which was not in position to make a strong tackle.... game over i lose another close one.........

:bitching:

2 years ago.... need just 1 point to cover i think was chiefs game they had the ball on opponent 22 yard line 30 secs left 4th down....
a fg covers the spread clock is stopped instead of just kicking it through the uprights the chiefs are up 13 and decided to just kneel the ball turn it over on downs.....

i think i about broke every remote in my reach.... u woulda thought they fg would be more practical.... :lost:

LOL good stuff

Here's one...Next week I am going to pick 5 of my favorite plays, ponder them, study all the stats, listen to about 3-4 other opinions, of all will still be in favor of my plays..............THEN PLAY THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE....can't do any worse.

-If a book has a line at -14.5 -120 and another book has 'em at -13 +105, take the undergog... MONEYLINE!

-In a mis-matched game if you picked a team at -42.5 (say Texas vs. Rice) and the line moved to -41.5 by game time, put your entire motherfuckin' house on Rice at +41.5.

-If you got the Over 69.5 in a game (10 TDs) and the line moved to 73.5 by game time: If you try to middle the book by taking the UN 73.5 (10 TDs + 1 FG) the game will produce AT LEAST 84 points (the bookie is a wiseguy). If you respect the action on the OV and put more money on the OV (buy half point) laying an extra FG, the book will be middled. If you don't touch the game at 73.5 and some uneducated people tell you that the game will go "under" because of the "big number", the game will have 4 turnovers in the red zone and finish at 69 points total.

I don't. My speciality this year has been collge football mis-matches (besides this week). I may be playing 1 or 2 units per week all together (in parlays) in the NFL.
