Southern Miss/Denver

Here are my thoughts on the game:

Denver was very impressive in their first game- hitting over 50% of their shots and 87% from the free throw line- which IMO is very important. They also had a ton of rebounds. The only downside to their game was that they had many turnovers- which they need to work on.

So Miss really was not to impressive- only winning by 3 to Lamar- a pretty lame effort on their part. However they shot over 50% as well. What killed them as 23 turnovers- they had a very hard time keeping the ball.

With Nicholson at center for Denver- they should be able to dominate the boards tonight.

I think Denver covers tonight against a weaker So Miss team.
