Week 11 Picks. Comments Welcomed

Hello All-

Record is: 16-4 against the spread.
1-0 on teaser.


I'm doing the same this week that I did last week by either giving additional points to the dog or taking fewer points with the favorite.

I think it was Baman who suggested to me in an earlier post that picking the actual winner of the game was just as important as the point spread. I think he's right.

Also, looking at some stats that Stiffler's Mom has posted the last few weeks seems to suggest that the team that covers the spread usually does so by significantely more than the point spread.

Here are my week 11 picks: All at Pinnacle

Steelers -5.5 +116 one unit. I think the steelers will simply outscore the ravens.

Miami on moneyline to win +115 one unit. Basically a pickem game and I think Miami is the winner. The weather may have an impact here so that's why only one unit.

Colts -6.5 +105 two units. The colts dominate Cincinnati on D this week. Manning ready and will have a good day throwing for TD's.

Packers -4.5 -104 one unit. I like the packers and really don't care for the vickings. Just an emotional pick.

Adding three games:

Carolina -4.5 + 141 Carolina a superior team and their D is likely to light up Bears QB like a pinball machine.

St. Louis -9 +101 Arizona is really poor team and Rams look to be shaping up with regard to injuries and attitude.

Giants -7 -101 Thought about giving some extra points here, but Eli can be a little streaky.
