Alright, here goes...
Vanderbilt +13
First, can Tennessee even score 14 points on offense? I think this game will be close, but I just can't see Ten giving 13 points. Hell, their 1-7 ATS anyway and their 0-5 this year when giving any points. This should be an easy cover. Then again? Of course, I do like my chances when the line opens around +13 and is now down to +12 and +11.5 in some places.
Ohio State -3
Love this pick as well, Ohio State only giving 3? This too has gone from -2 to -3 or -3.5. Now, Ohio St. offense has been incredible lately (haven't played the best of teams) but at least it should give them the confidence to play as offensive successfully. An their defense is really nasty - holding northwestern to 7 points is the real deal. The game will probably be closer than I think, but Ohio should win by at least 6 or 7 points.
Alabama +7
Ok, take perhaps the best defense in all of college football and give them 7 points? I'll take it! Sure Auburn's got a great team, but this is going to be close, probably decided by 4 points or less. I'll take the points any day.
Fresno State +24
Another game where the points are going down. I really like Fresno State to keep it close. Their defense is solid, and their offense is great too. I don't they will win, but they think they can win - and this may be USC's toughest game of the year (well, aside from the ND game). There are no statistics I can find that show me why USC is giving so many points to this team.
Northwestern -15
This one is moving up too, started around -14.5, now around -15.5 in some places. But, seriously, Illinois? Illinois? The same team that got scored 48 points on by Ohio State? Take that number and double it against this offense. They haven't done much lately, but they've played some good D's. Look for NWestern to have thier day in the sun running up the score against this team which is giving up an average of 39.7 ppg and 42.8 ppg at home.
Stanford +5
I dunno how good this pick actually is, but I like it for some reason. I think they may get the outright win, but they could lose big too. Maybe its because I had to pick at least one home team this weekend. Anyways, not my strongest pick, but playing it anyway.
GL to everyone this weekend! :prtytme:
