I think I have been suffering from "paralysis by analysis" as of late. I took a few days off from the NBA to allow the season to take shape. In those few days, I made some "mock" picks to see how I would have done. I did very little analysis for those said picks, and ended up doing pretty well -- I think I just need to trust my gut more often. Sometimes, overanalyzing the numbers (or seeing who is picking what in the forum) has made me rethink my initial pick(s) and made me a bit unsure of my original pick(s). So, gonna go with my gut more -- I'll still do some "capping" of course -- but it seems like more often than not, I was capping myself out of what I wanted to bet in the first place. As one saying goes -- "there are lies, damn lies, and statistics"...
