Used to love shopping in Albany years ago with my late mother....Now they have a D1 basketball program? Woah...What has this world come to?

On the serious side now.

Albany -3 1/2 (1 unit) Albany returns two good athletes in a league where Vermont was the power last year. Will Brown the head coach at Albany has back Jamar Wilson and Lucious Jordan who combined for 31 points per game last year. Oakland U got hot at the right time last year and made it to the BIG SHOW as team #65 by beating FAMU with behemoth Courney Scott if ya'll remember that body and Rawle Marshall a sleek forward who got the job done. This year Oakland has new starters in their places with a couple of key transfers in Calvin Wooten who played at Rutgers and high school phenom Derick Nelson. Albany beat a couple of clubs last year who Oakland I don't think could have beaten. Oakland did beat Bowling Green and played Texas A&M. Newcomers will be the key for Oakland tonight, however, 4 returning starters should be wanting to prove something in Gainesville although I respect coach Krampe's tenacity and ability to coach. Very light play for me..Albany 63 Oakland 58..

The other games tonight I've passed on...Florida has back 2 starters and St Pete's one starter who was one of the top scorers in the country last year in pipsqueek Keydren Clark..Florida lost Lee, Roberson and Walsh from last year's team but have back big man Horford, and a nice young backcourt...Florida is favored by 21...No thanks...

I don't have a line on Cornell-Syracuse matchup yet, however I feel it's going to be around 18-20 pts in favor of Syracuse and McNamara will probably have his 3 pt shoes on tonight.

GLTA on whatever you play. Albany is my only play.

Thanks Skins & Corey...GL to you all on Albany too.

Now playing Cornell +21 (1 unit) Will probably see this line drop down to 18 before it's all said and done and that's the number I have it landing on...Cornell lost last year by 13 with basically the same team back this year and Syracuse without Hakim Warrick will miss him a bit, and Cornell will have fans in this dome of all places as well. Just figure Cornell can find the bucket enough to keep under the number.

Sorry Wareagle..This is probably very late to respond however, St Pete's has a great lil guard in Clark and U of F is missing 3 starters from last year in Walsh, Lee and Roberson. It's a home tilt in Gainesville and U of F plays about as hard as they have too in tournament games early in the year. I have Florida winning this one by 17, so for me it's a no play...pretty close to the line at hand now...

Albany looks like money...
