Hello -

I've got an account at bodog and one with pinnacle.

My question is why the large difference in the cost to place a bet?

Example: Next week Lions vs. Cardinals

Bodog is at Lions -4 and -110 to bet.

Pinnacle is at Lions -4 and +105 to bet.

Why would anyone want to bet this game at bodog?

How many sportsbooks should I look at and/or use?

Thanks,

Brian

Every book is different- play with the one you feel has the best lines- GL!

I'm currently using 4 different ones.

I would PROBABLY have MORE of my accounts funded, but it becomes sort of a pain in the ass to check the lines at every book to get the best line before I make my plays with using 4 of them, lol

It's also a good idea to have books who use completely different lines....for example, one who offers more points on the dogs, one who offers lowered juice, etc.

The lowered juice is good for obvious reasons, and that extra half point or full point can make a ton of difference, ESPECIALLY in hoops (if you play hoops at all that is). Just imagine a few games per season that you lose by a half point that you could have pushed, or that you push and could have won with that half point. It does make a difference in the long run.

Hope that was at least a little helpful

The whole thing about this is finding the best value. Thousands can be won and lost with just a point. You need to shop around.
