5* Western Michigan (-3) (-110) Over Eastern Michigan
Inter-state rivalry game which sometimes has the tendency to be close games. WMU has won 8 of the last 10 meetings between these two teams. WMU has won there last two games in an impressive fashion whooping Kent St. 44-14 and Bowling Green 45-14. WMU has won 5 of there last 6 with there only loss being a wild 60-57 upset to the hands of Ball St. WMU has a high powered offense but a suspect defense. EMU has lost 3 in a row. They played an improved game last week versus Miami of Ohio where they lost 24-23 but the two weeks before that there offense could only muster 11 total pts against Toledo and Northern Illinois. EMU will probably be able to move the ball against WMU but I don't think there defense will be able to slow down the high powered attack of the Broncos.
