OK-so on Pinnacle they have a season wins section. I noticed that the New Orleans Hornets are only predicted to win 20.5 games this year. I am thinking about taking the over 20.5 and here is my reasoning.

1- Chris Paul- Guy is an amazing ball player and I think he is the perfect guy to take the point position for New Orleans.

2- Desmond mason- He put up career bests last year, with no PG. TJ Ford was hurt, and with Chris Paul, who is lightning quick running the point, i see Desmond Mason adding to his numbers.

3. Jamal Magloire- He has hated playing with the Hornets since he got there. He is finally gone, and I think that the in team contentions will help get some good unity and a quick team.

I am very interested to know what all you cappers think about this?
Please send me your opinions, whether they agree with me or not....just make sure your opinions have solidity behind them.

I haven't posted in the forum in a while, but I have been following everyone during the college football and NFL seasons this year. I am going to start posting ]this week and hopefully get back into the swing of things. Anyway, I saw your post on the Hornets, and because I am former season ticket holder and follow the team closely, I thought I'd throw in my 2 cents. Here is my breakdown of the Hornets:

1) Desmond Mason/Jamal Magloire - I'm not so sure this is really much of a chemistry upgrade. Mason talked to the press about how upset he was at Buck's management for the trade and seemed upset about going to the Hornets.

2) Chris Paul - During summer ball, Paul had a couple of injuries that kept him out of games. Whether or not they were minor injuries he would play through during the regular season, I don't know.

3) Byron Scott - Scott is a great coach in my opinion. His offensive schemes are outstanding and he is a great motivator. The team was motivated at every Hornets game I attended last year, which was quite a feat considering their talent and record.

4) OK City - Also being a Saints fan, I would be worried about the Hornets playing in OK City. I doubt it will be a positive for this young team.

I hope this info helps you out. GL with your play!

Jazz, I just checked my book and they have the Hornets at 22.5 +115. I think your 20 is more reasonable, and I hope it works for you. GL this season and GO HORNETS!!!
