Falcons -8 (2 Units)
The Falcons clearly should be the team tonight that chews up the clock, controls the game, forces a few turnovers and riles up the crowd in Atlanta..... Vick, Dunn and Duckett... the most formidable rushing tandum in the NFL should eventually wear down the Jets defense, though I don't believe they will pull away early. Testaverde can not do anything on the road, He will meet a lot of Brooking tonight.
Under 40.5 (4 Units)
I do realize the OVER trend on MNF and don't believe it will play any factor tonight.... Especially with a majority on the OVER again tonight.
I figure the under is the stronger play, as the jets secondary is repectable so they shouldnt give up any quick scores... the falcons run the ball the most in the league, however the jets have one of the fastest linebacker combinations so they should be able to stop big gainers... the jets offense is pitiful, testevaverde will get hammered by brooking... the center is out for the jets which may lead to penalties... curtis martin hasn't been effective when the jets passing offense has been held in check, neither team has spectacular special teams, and both have reliable field goal kickers... that total is a little low for a MNF football game, but if both teams can keep the turnovers DOWN this game should go under as I dont see either team going up and down the field consistently without possessions i ngood field position set up by defense or special teams....
