Just watchout for that collapsing pocket. The Jets are going to have to run a lot of outside sweeps and quick throws if they're going to hang in the game.

The Falcons defense is small and even without Mawae the Jets will be able to protect Vinny!! And trust me the Falcons defense WILL NOT intimidate the Jets!! The Jets have already faced the #1, #2, and #5 defenses in the league and VINNY only faced #1 and BEAT THEM!!

My guess is that you are a homer from the New Jersey area. I don't believe the Jets are going to defeat the Falcons at home on MNF, but 8 is a big spread to cover.

TRUE HOWEVER the number itself is misleading because almost HALF of those sacks came against the Vikings!!

Yep! Strength of Schedule is almost exactly the same for TB and Atlanta!! So if we take into account their two common opponents (Minny and Buffalo) the Bucs gave up 10 less points ot those teams so I guess the Bucs defense is better!!

and also if we take into account that the Bucs give up only 12 pts/gm whereas the Falcons give up 19.8 pts/gm I guess that makes the Bucs defense a heck of a lot better than the Falcons!! So I guess the Bucs are worthy of the #1 defense in the league!!
