The Jets struggled against the run last week at Buffalo. Atlanta leads the league in rushing with 185.3 yards/game. They also hold onto the ball, commiting an average of 1 turnover per game, which is 2nd best in the league.

Kevin Mawae is out for the season and his consecutive game streak will come to an end at 177. He is the leader of that offensive line, and an emotional leader for the team.

The Jets are the 2nd lowest scoring team in the league (13 points/game).
The Jets have the 3rd worst running game in the league (80.5 yards/game).

Jets are 0-3 on the road (0-3 ATS also).

This Jets team has yet to face Michael Vick. The last time these two teams met up was in 1998.

That being said though, I think the Jets defense will play tough and can possibly keep this game within a score. Curtis Martin had a good game last week and Atlanta's been giving up a lot of yardage on the ground lately. If the Falcons adjust well and contain Martin, this game will turn into a defensive battle.

I don't usually play teasers, but 8.5 points is too tough a line IMO, and the under looks like a solid play.

ATL -2.5 / under 46.5 2-team 6pt teaser (-110) (2 units).
