At first glance I thought VT was an obvious choice here giving up only 10.5 points. They have certainly shown they can cover it and then some.

VT beat WV (34-17) and also beat NCST by 4 points and the blowout of GT (51-7) looks awful impressive. Maybe the GT ass whooping was a fluke (maybe not), but certainly GT was not playing at 100%. VT shutout Duke (45-0) and Ohio (45-0). Not that big a deal. What does impress me is that Maryland beat then #19 Virginia (45-33). Maryland has won the last 3 and the biggest loss was to WV by 12 points (WV scored 24 points in the 4th). I don’t think VT is going to have an easy time in Maryland.

VT might possibly be looking ahead to (#13) BC next week or (#6) Miami FL the following week and taking this game a little lighter. Maryland would sure love to revenge the 55-6 ass beating VT gave them last year.

Couldnt agree with you more!..Maryland as a 10.5 point dog at home..i like them they'll play a lot tougher then people think..55-6 ass whoopings don't go unanswered....maryland +10.5 is teh play!!! GL MAN i'll be with ya tonight!

I'm on VTech -10.5. I don't see Maryland keeping up with one of the best D's in college.

VTech has also had 12 days to rest and prepare for this game. They should come out Fresh and ready to lay the whoopin' on!

GL Triple H but you might need some Cream after tonight.

Maryland should be even more rested as they are also coming off a bye and 12 days of rest as well. Even better they are at home tonight and didn’t have to travel. :thumbs: :thumbs: :thumbs:

Phippee, I am glad you have an opinion but maybe you should start a new thread when you want to share it instead of contradicting mine.

Nice write up HHH... I agree with everything you've written..the difference I believe will be in the coaching. Beamer is always looking to improve, Friedgen is always looking for a sandwich!!

Thanks Silver & Black, Andre, BaMan, birdsfan5, and the rest. No doubt coaching is a huge factor. We'll have to wait and see.

WOW Triple H! I wasn't tryin' to hurt your ego by merely putting my thoughts out there. I didn't realize it would be so offending to you.
