NHL YTD: 28-25-2 (-1.69 units)

O/U: 9-10 (-1.35 units)
5* Minnesota Wild (-125) Over San Jose Sharks - Includes regulation, ot and shootout
The Wild are #1 in power play's and penalty kills. The Wild are 3-1 at home this season with solid victories of the Flames, Canucks and Ducks with there lone loss being against the Canucks. The Wild are one of the top defensive teams in the league giving up just 2.16 gpg. The Wild will welcome there top goal scorer back to the lineup tonight in Marion Gaborik. Without his presence the Wild still managed a respectable 3.5 gpg. I expect alot from the Sharks and in the end I think they'll be one of the best teams in the West but early on I think they've been unable to find there groove. The Sharks are just 1-3 on the road with losses to the Predators, Blackhawks and Red Wings with there lone win coming against the Blues. A remarkable number for the Sharks has been there goals against on the road. So far through 4 games they're giving up 4.5 gpg on the road. I think the Sharks will have a tough time against this Wild team. The Wild have shown they can take advantage with there compact play against any style. I've got with a high unit cause I think the books are underestimating the early play by the Wild. Had this been Detroit or any other top team you would see a line like -160 or higher. I think the Wild take this with there strong defense and goaltending. Also Nabokov has not been sharp in net for the Sharks.
1* Colorado Avalanche (-145) Over Los Angeles Kings - Includes regulation, ot and shootout
Fading Garon in net for the Kings. Avalanche might get a boost by Hejduk tonight. He is supposedly returning either this evening or Friday. Colorado has struggled the last few games. There is alot of pressure building on them. Players like Blake and Aebischer are being looked on to step up. Aebischer especially has backup netminder Budaj has played exceptionally well. I just look for the Avs to bounce back here. I think if Labarbera was in net for the Kings I would take them as a dog but with Garon in net I'll take the Avs at home.
Good Luck to All!!!!
