well I am curious what the other cappers are doing offering up this one as a free pick. They are going with NY ISLANDERS. I think that this is one of those. I have you guys take the Islanders You guys help me buy down the poiints so I can get the Rangers at a cheap price and I look like a hero plays. I am sure you guys have seen this before.

I watched these two teams play twice in preseason and the Isles looked significantly better then the Rangers. But so far to start the season these two look like polar opposites. The Isles usually play well against there rivals especially the last few years. I've been raving about the play of Lundqvist so far this season for the Rangers but I think tonight's game will be a stiff challenge for him. Lundqvist has already stated that the only thing he has problems at is the traffic in front of the net. You'll see the Isles throw the likes of Hunter, Parrish and Blake at Lundqvist all night to disrupt his vision. This will be a very tight game and overall the Isles are the better team but they haven't showed it yet. This game screams no bet IMO. If the Isles put it together they win this one easily but if the Rangers play like they have the last few days they win this one hands down. I'm an Islander fan so you know who I'm rooting for. I think the value lies in the Isles here but there are better games then this tonight.

corey I agree with you. there are alot of other games out there. but what I have been noticing lately is the fact that these OTHER cappers have been trying to bend the lines by posting these bogus free picks. I think the value is with the ISLANDERS at +140 how can it not be but the ISLANDERS havent proved nothing yet. I figure after the 3 big wins at home. I think something is fishy with this oh so special FREE pick by these other cappers. DONT WANT TO NAME THESE CLOWNS>

Rangers have an all canadian coaching staff, and Jagr is looking to have a great season. Rangers win this one IMO, but I wish I had looked more at the forum before laying down the money, it sounds like a 50/50 bet now.

Of course there is a reason why 70% of the people are on the Rangers they've played well so far. But they are a one line team right now and if others teams can figure out a way to stop Jagr's line the Rangers will have problems. This game will be tight. I think the value definetly lies in the Isles this evening. Not just as a homer but I think the Isles bounce back tonight. Too much talent to continue playing poorly.
