Question - Why MrCanuck Banned

I am curious as to why MrCanuck is banned.

He only wanted an apology from the players who insulted him, not everyone in the forum.

Yes! He was over demanding, but was he not provoked?

And he did not know any better that if someone insults you on your pick, it is most like that the player has poor sportmanship. To demand an apology is not likely going to happen.

If someone called had called me a moron for picking IND on MNF, I would have defintedly rubbed it in.

Put yourself in his shoes. What if he had posted in your thread and insulted you for picking the LAMBS?

It just seems like there's a huge band wagon against the dude.

per the rules he should have been banned on Sunday Night during the game.

He posted a lock in NCAAFB, I let it go and explained to him why locks are not permited.

The next night he comes into my thread and posts a lock and then an argument (albeit minor) erupted....as I predicted.

He then began boasting about his killer parlays from 5 years ago.

He then DEMANDED an apology.

How about I start a thread every time I win asking all of those on the flip side to apologize to me. I know his facts were different, but his exact words were bet your children and your childrens children on the over.

Further, he was posting bets after the fact.

I had nothing to do with the banning of mr canuck, but I probably should have banned him when I saw some of the shit he did. I let it go, thinking maybe he was just really a newbie and didn't understand how things worked around here.

But the point is that if you rock the boat here, you're gonna get tossed the fuck out of it.

We would much rather have quality guys hanging around OFFERING SOMETHING VALUABLE, than six thousand morons and little children posting locks, fighting, demanding apologies, chest thumping, talking about how much money they won years ago (or on unposted bets), posting shit after the games are over, etc. That crap doesn't do anyone any good and isn't what the site is about.

Bottom line is if assholes like him are allowed to stay and disrupt shit, the quality guys that have been here a long time are gonna get sick of the shit and stop posting....so the choice is easy who we'd rather have stay....and it ain't the likes of mr canuck.

I think everyone that is banned should have a disclaimer present in the very post that got them banned....AND....I think the mod who banned them should be the one who posts the disclaimer!
