Just havin some fun.
But I am serious, I am leaning on Seattle, but does anyone have thoughts as to why Houston is the play tonight?
Thanks

I think some of it may be the logic that Houston has to win at some point right? Plus Seattle is coming off a big win and may have a let down. I don't necessarily agree with these points, but that seems to be some of the logic.
I think if I play this game I may play the total. Frankly I don't trust Seattle and like you said, the Texans are awful.

I believe Seattle has wide out issues as well.
This day sucks so who knows, lol

I just remember S. Alexander every time on sunday night he has like 1,000 TDs and 4,000 yards.
I lean toward the under for two reasons:
1. Houston plays to be close in the end. Ball control .
2. Houston may not score much. So even if it is a blow out it is likely to be under 45.
I know they are not your arguments, but:
I really don't like a bad team to get its first win on the road.
I don't think the win at ST.L was a big win (again, I know these aren't your arguments).
Thanks for the response.

Seattle has had wide out issues for year (all the dropped passes). I think this is another reason that the UNDER looks like the play.

Mathematical Prediction
Spread: Seattle Seahawks -24
Total: 38
Houston Texans: 7
Seattle Seahawks: 31
Yeah, Seattle has WR issues, as in injuries, but I took the UNDER.

Ok the Texans offense is piss poor, but the Seattle secondary is absolute ass. There's no way the Texans don't jump double digits on accident.... I believe that texans gave up 21+ at home to TENNESSEE.. now to parralel the Seahawks offense at home to Tennessee's on the road is a laugh... my pick is more like 34-17 Seahawks

Just an FYI, Seattle had wideout issues last week and they still scored like 39 or something.

Hard to back Houston but I would have to assume gen pub is going to be all over that tonight & hopefully it will hit 10. No Andre Johnson, but he has been invisible all year anyway. I faded Seattle l/w b/c of their WR issues and got burned. Also of note, Seattle had triple revenge l/w vs St Louis at STL and stuck it in their ass. Now they go on NTV vs the sorry ass Houston team. These are the situations where the dog usually covers somehow. I'll just wait and fade the publlic on this one tonight.

Horfin,
Houston:
10-2 ATS after 2 or more consecutive losses over the last 3 seasons.
Seattle:
14-33 ATS as a favorite of 3.5 to 9.5 points since 1992.
11-28 ATS off a win against a division rival since 1992.
11-27 ATS in home games when playing against a <.500 team since 1992.
20-37 ATS in weeks 5 through 9 since 1992
0-8 ATS off a division game over the last 2 seasons.
5-13 ATS in games played on a grass field over the last 2 seasons.
1-9 ATS in October games over the last 3 seasons.
1-6 ATS as favorite on 6> points
Want to tease this one to the Colts, but can't make up my mind which side to tease it to - Houston +16 or Seattle -2. Think I'm going with Seattle, but I'll smack myself if the Texans actuaaly pull off the upset. I do like the under as well, How much can the Texans actually score? Its hard to throw TD's when you're laying flat on your ass.
Anyways this game sucks, so a glass of Zin and Deperate Housewives sounds like a better play here. Good Luck

One thing is for sure....this is one ugly prime time matchup.
Who's the clown that scheduled this stupid game for prime time when there were so many games today that meant something?
I know these things are scheduled before the season, but did the schedule makers think Houston was going to be good this year, or that this game was going to mean something and/or bring some high public interest?
With the exception of Minnesota/Chicago and Baltimore/Cleveland, pretty much any other game on the card would have been more interesting that this anticipated slugfest.
I don't get it, lol

I have two TVs set up:
Big one: Sunday Night Football
Little One: Baseball
I'll have to buy a third so I can check out D.H. . . Never seen it before. The only thing I know about it is the Monday Night Football thing.

I'll be flipping between baseball and HBO. I think the Halo's are so done you could stick a fork in them. I LOVE HBO ON SUNDAY night. I check out Rome at 9:00 and Curb Your Enthusiasm is the Best Show on TV right now. Was Entourage a couple of months ago. Tonights episode seems funny, Larry starts a fight at a Bingo game. I'm glad I saved some of that "green" from the Dolphins pre-game party. And I'll be chasin it with a Beck's instead of that Zin. But a couple of those chicks on Housewives are hotties, especially Eva Longoria. Big bump to Tony Parker for hittin that. Ended up trying to have some fun and took 2 minor teasers with both sides with the Colts. Think it will split the middle. Good luck with your action tonight, guys
