Does anyone know why OU is only -4 1/2 point favorites against Kansas. I know OU isn't the same team we have seen the last few years but this year's version is still a lot better than Kansas. OU bitch slapped Kansas State a few weeks ago while Kansas lost to Kansas State this past week 12-3. OU was embarassed by Texas Saturday and are going to look to rebound against someone this week. I think Kansas is in for an old fashioned beatdown. Any opinions are appreciated.

Well I'll give you the best skinny I can. I do think -4.5 is a bit low so take it early as it is sure to rise. This game is to be played at a neutral field (Arrowhead) in Kansas City. This will be a hugh pro Kansas crowd. Mangino will have his best chance in his short career at Kansas to beat Bob Stoops Sooners. Kansas will probably make a bowl game at 6-5, but this was put onto their schedule to be Kansas' bowl game for this season as they will never smell the conf. championship game in KC or Houston. And also for $$$$ reasons as we all know rules. Oklahoma has no real pressident for how it plays following a Texas loss, it aint happened in awhile. Peterson is still out with a high ankle sprain and will only play sparingly at best. I personally would stay away from this game. As a fan I certainly want to bet the farm, but the betor says stay back....this has possible upset written all over it. OU players know they should beat Kansas after whoopin KSU, and this will play into Kansas' hands.

Good points Boomer...
Also OU after playing Texas is tough and tough after a straight up loss. Neutral site listed, and Arrowhead is a grass field, which Kansas doesn't fare too well on. Peterson might be back this weekend and OU's defense has something to prove. Less than a touchdown really drew my attention in this game and Stoops doesn't care for Mangino very much. I like Mangino's toughness and how he's a players' coach, however I really think the Sooners will exploit some weaknesses that K State found in KU and Texas Tech did as well. I'd like to see this line drop a wee-bit before making an official play on it...I do feel OU is much better than what Kansas has displayed thus far and their offense, KU's that is hasn't done well vs anyone this year, including Florida Atlantic.
GL with it..

Kansas should not have a chance in hell to beat OU SU. But after watching 3+ OU games, I can honestly say that Brett Bomar sucks fat cawk. Therefore, this game is a no play for me, although I think OU wins it in convincing fashion.
