Will go with these for Game 1
San Diego (+165) Vs. St. Louis If San Diego is going to avoid the sweep the HAVE to win game 1. Peavy is their best pitcher and Carpenter has been getting nailed. Will stab at +165 and see if SD can avoid the sweep.
Boston (-101) Vs. Chicago I think Chicago just faded too much down the stretch to back them in Game 1. I think Boston will take their hacks against Contreras..so I will take the short fav in Boston
Houston (+102) Vs. Atlanta
Pettite at a plus price...nuff said.
For the Series I will try these:
LA Angels (+125) Vs. NY Yankees Hopefully I can buy it back after the Angels win game 1. However, for now, I like the Angles at this price when they start at home.
Houston Astros (-115) Vs. Atlanta Hoston just has too much pitching for the young Braves to overcome IMO.
