I cant remember who asked the question:

"what are the chances of bodog starting to offer the ability to buy
points
when the juice is something different than -110?"

But they answered with:

Recreational bettors would love to buy points more and we would actually
make more money from them with that. However, with our sometimes
aggressive line moves and our frequent off-standard lines, sharps and
professionals can occasionally get huge value and create large
side/middle situations for the book. Let me give an example.

Dallas is playing at Chicago and most books have the Cowboys -5.5. We
get so much action that we go to -6 and from there -6 -120. That makes
the Bears +6 Even and buying a halfpoint gives pros the opportunity to
get +6.5 for the standard -110, a full point off the standard line and a
big danger for us as we have heavy action at -5.5 and sharp money at
+6.5, making 6 catastrophic for the book.

We are working on software changes to the wager rules that will allow
point buys in these situations but with much lower limits, or even
preventing players from buying in the 'bad' direction. It likely will
not be done, tested and launched in time for this football season, but
should be here in plenty of time for next year.

Now the lowered wager limits make sense, if they're looking to protect themselves from getting middled for huge money on each side, but not buying in the "bad" direction. What the hell is that all about?

How about just sending us all an email telling us all which side you have all the action on, and asking us to please play the other side? Just make sure you don't buy up the line!!

I asked this question, thanks for getting back to me Kevin.

it just seems like the bodog lines are juiced, all the time more/less than -110, it is almost rare to find a line that is juiced only -110.
