I know this is dump, but most of my betting is base on which team is better and by analysiing the both team...

If you have time to help the bro explaining those would be great or the Forum who might know.

re: moneyline

A moneyline bet is simply betting the game straight up with no point spread.

-550 means I was laying $550 to win $100

or 5.50 to win 1.00
or 5500 to win 1000 etc

Conversely, if you took the dog (I can't recall the exact underdog moneyline) at say +300, you'd be betting $100 to profit $300

Hopefully that makes sense.

I dont recommend people do it on a regular basis, just something I use when I feel safe with a win but not a cover but dont wanna bet the underdog and the points for one reason or another. Most of the time that reason not being a good one, that the dog has burnt me bad in the past and more of a feeling of being jinxed which also jinxes arent real. Just something that bugs me!

If I was to lose a game at -550 Id have to win 5.5 straight games to break even. Not a real bright way of betting, but Im a bit unorthodox at times lol
