hey xerri, i was just wondering why you like wvu? they looked inept in every game they played.. yah their D is pretty good, but come on 20-15 against ECU? Wake Forest ran all over ECU the week b4 and then WVU couldnt even break 200 yds.. I know it's an away rivalry game, but i just think the moutaineers suck..

I like West Virginia's defense and think they can hold VT to around 20 to 24 points. WV has 2 mobile QBs and they have a lot of talent in their backfield. I know they struggled against ECU but think they probably held a lot back in preparation for this game. That was a sandwich game for them so wasn't surprised they played poorly after beating Maryland and having VT in their next game.

I have a feeling Gradowski doesn't play based on the line movement. Toledo has some decent running backs which I think they will use more and I think they will try and control the ball more and use some short passes. Cochran has 14 completions and just 92 passing yards so they haven't been getting big plays when he has played and I think the clock will be kept moving more. I expect Fresno's defense to dominate as well and could see Toledo being held around 14 to 17 points which I think gives the under a decent chance being this high. I'm just hoping Fresno doesn't put up 50 points.

On another note, I sure hope our REBS can get their $#!t together so we don't have a worse record than last year. Hopefully, since Cutcliffe didn't recruit, Orgeron can bring some talent to oxford in the next year or to so we can become competitive again. +21 on a short week for UT and before they play Georgia.... I can see WVU holding VT to 20 to 24 points a game but I have doubts that WVU can score over 10 unless they get some lucky breaks. The VT defense has been suffocating this year. VT is playing a lot better as a team than two years ago and this game is a nooner which is a whole lot different than playing in Morgantown on a Thursday night. The line has come down a little so I'm gonna throw a few bucks on VT to cover. You have the record thus far though - no doubt about it.

I'd watch out betting against wvu 2-4 last time tech game in blowing everyone out wvu was a 14pt. dog the public was all over tech. wvu handed it to tech on a platter. last year wvu goes to tech money on wvu and tech handed it to wvu. usually the home team has pretty good success in this series. plus i think something like 75% of public is on tech if you are into those kind of stats. just my two cents
