Update on "fading public"

Just wanted to follow up on my post from last week.

Fading the public when they are on one side over 80% (from sportsbook).

Year to date record was 11-2-2

Yesterdat's results: 3-1

83% on PHIL/OAK over -- WINNER
88% on INDY -- WINNER
84% on DALLAS -- WINNER
85% on SEAT/ARIZ over -- LOSER

Toatal's y-t-d: 14-3-2 (82%)

I would like to be able to post my picks prior to the game starts, however, like I said last week I put my bets in 5 minutes before gametime. This is due to the big moves in these percentages with late money. Anyway you can easily find this info yourself.

OAK went under, and IND and DAL didn't cover. SEA did go over though...

He is posting that those games would be winners if you went AGAINST the public and took the other side.

Not sure where the numbers came from, cause only ONE side was over 80% at sportsinsights (the most reliable source IMO for these numbers) yesterday, and that was INDY (81%).

I didn't even look at the totals, and Philly and Dallas were both in the low to mid 70% range at sportsinsights.

And, unposted plays are frowned upon here.

Read the rules.

No offense, but if you can't post em before gametime, you ain't helping anyone bro....we all know who won the games yesterday, and we can all look at the numbers and see who the public was on.

Sportsbook.com by chance?

I used to use them to track. Not very accurate at all compared to some of the other books on the market.

Sportsbook.com tends to be a very "public" dominated book, and their numbers are often inflated because of it....for example, i used to see stuff like 98% on certain sides there during basketball season. There's NO WAY 98% of all bets, on any game are coming in on one side.

SO....that explains why those other sides were showing like 85% when the other sources were showing in the low 70's.

Whatever works i guess....and that's not even important.

What is important is that posting that you played games after they're over is frowned upon here.

I use wagerline but none of them were 80%, highest was Indi with 70.94%. They highlighted those above 59% and if you faded all that you will get more than 50% winning. It worked in basketball too.

Correct me if I am wrong, but wagerline picks are not from actual $$$$ bet(contest?)... besides their lines are always off!:beer2:

It maybe not from actual bet but it's still public opinion. And you are right, their lines are usually early lines. They don't update it often. But the fact is (cuz my friend is doing it for a year) you will win more than lose if you fade those highlights. I'm not trying to convince you guys to do that cuz I'm not doing it myself. I think it's more fun when I cap a game and I don't have like bet on 10-15 games a day.

Relax buddy. I've given people the info so that they can go to sportsbook 5 minutes before gametime and take a look. You don't need me to post this info, as my weekly picks, just check out the site.

If I put my bets in on wed, thur etc., with the same info, I would not have the same fantastic winning percentages in NFL as I do so far -- 82%. 8-10 games were above 80% during the week, and actually 6-8 up to 30 minutes prior. Like I stated in last weeks post, I am very disciplined

If you want to know my bets, check sportsbook.com 5 minutes before the noon games. If the goal is to help those in need of picks, I cannot post my plays, b/c I'm too busy making them.

Listen, I don't care if you listen to me, and I'm not trying to tell you how to bet. All I'm letting people know is how I am betting and how it is working.

What's unfortunate is that he isn't alltogether wrong. I've been doing a form of the same thing and done fairly well although not yesterday.

NO one's gonna get any shit for posting plays, win or lose, or no matter how they come up with em....but posting how you won so and so yesterday they weren't posted here is just not allowed.
