Was just wondering what the philosophies are on this. I'll sometimes buy a 1/2 point if I'm only getting 6.5 or giving 7.5. It's actually infrequent that I'll buy a 1/2 point and I have NEVER bought more than a 1/2 point. Although I'm trying to remember a bet where it actually helped or saved me. I remember taking N.C. St. last year +6.5 vs. FSU and stupidly forgot to buy the 1/2 pt. and sure enough, FSU won the game by 7. :bang:
