As an amateur I would love some feedback for these general picks for week 3.
Carolina (-3.5) over Miami
Kansas City (+3) over Denver
Cleveland @ Indy Over 47
- Two great passing games with little defense on either side
Might have more picks later but maybe the veterans could give me some pointers let me know what they think. Thanks!

I would definately be careful with Carolina-Miami. Miami has only given up 27 points, that's an average of 13.5. Carolina has given up 40. The public is ALL OVER Carolina because they beat New England of course but the level of parity in the NFL is PROFOUND and I think it eludes people. It's also hard to come back with a win after a build-up and game and then in this case a win like that. I'd be careful with that one.

I cant believe Im saying this, but INDY has a GREAT defense.
That DE they have is sick! Feeney I believe his name is, probably the best end in football right now!

I dont know what Indy team you have been watching, but as Kevin said they have a GREAT defense. This one could go over though because Indy should score 31 points after being stuffed at home by the Jags.
I agree with WD as well. Miami's D has been pretty solid and with the public likely all over Carolina, Miami could be the play here...

Thanks for everyone's help, I agree the Colts D does look good, hopefully it won't look as good against the browns. Thanks again!

I think you're the first person to ever associate a great passing game with Trent dilfer....

I understand , however, just as the colts defense is good right now, look at the brown's passing game - its ranked 2nd in the NFL at the moment. I'm just going with what I have seen this year. Plus the brown's overall offense is ranked 4th - not bad.

PackerBacker-
I love it.....someone actually trying to convince us that the Browns offense is legit! Ha ha.
Just remember, that although they rank high, thanks to last weeks B. Edwards 80 yard TD, it is only week 2.
PLus if their running game keeps SUCKING the way it has, like last week, Droughns 20 rushes for 50 yards, then that passing game is gonna slow WAY down.
Anyhow, if the Browns offense is still ranked 4th at the end of the season, I will send you a personalized letter tellin you how bad i suck. :)
As far as your other plays
I like Tennessee and Carolina.
On the other sides with Denver, and NE.
Just don't see how the Pats can go to 1-2.
Anyhow, GL my friend!

Another thing I never thought Id hear myself say... Trent Dilfer looks good.
Granted, its been against 2 questionable teams but I watched their games and he's mobile, like really mobile throwing on the run and with some zip.
Getting Rueben Droughns in there at RB looked like it was the right call as well. His Wideouts arent too shabby either.
Cleveland is underrated folks and those that took the over on season wins have a winner.
