NFL2005: 10-1
NFLsides: 6-1
NFLtotals: 4-0

last week's 8-0 is going to be hard to duplicate. Not a lot jumped out early this week.

CHI +3 1/2 -120.......................Not sure if CIN is ready to be a 3 point road favorite against a team with a defense like the Bears have. CIN hasn't faced much resistance at all this season in their 2 games vs. MIN and CLE. This should be different. The Bears have only surrendered 1 TD in 2 games this season on defense. They will stuff CIN run game and force Palmer to throw the ball. I think this will be a fairly low scoring game, with the team that can score TD's not FG's coming out ahead. CIN is also a measly 2-14 away after winning by 15+ points, while CHI is 15-3 at home vs. non-conference teams. Getting a FG or FG+ at home with CHI who is fresh off a dominating performance themsleves is a great value, IMO.
CHI-17 CIN-16

will add more as the week goes on....

GL to everyone!

Be careful. Carson Palmer is the real deal. He can carve up any defense. Last year he single handedly beat the Ravens in Baltimore coming back from a 2 touchdown deficit in the second half. Good luck

Q, Nikkins, underdog, raven, G, Fear- THX!

Bengals were an underdog last year vs. Baltimore and weren't supposed to win...big mindset difference, IMO. I am a die hard Bengals fan, so i remember that W in Baltimore well.....

IND -850/SDG -2 1/2 -170 (-128)...........................This game has been circled on SDG calendar since last year. They can't stand Eli manning after the draft fiasco and this is their primetime Sunday Night Game. NOR put up a TON of yardage against the Giants, but couldn't help getting in the way of themselves with turnovers and penalties. NOR actually outgained NYG 422-257. In fact NYG have been outstatted in both games by a wide margin. This simply IS the season for SDG, and i think the NYG have been somewhat fortunate (though i will give them credit for being opportunistic) in their first 2 games with lots of "unforced errors" by their opponents. Look for SDG to get Tomlinson much more involved this week in all areas of the offense. Manning will get some yardage vs. a soft SDG secondary, but not enough to leave town with a W. SDG will put up points on a Giants defense that has surrendered a bunch of yards in the first 2 weeks. Using Indy to offset the 3 point buy in this one....though i think they do win by a TD plus.
SDG-30 NYG- 17

GL... intrigued with the bears this weekend.... they are a heck of a lot better than i thought.... and they may just win their division (which doesn't say too much, but shit....)

LMAO....i was thinking the same thing myself.....Bears will win that division on the basis of that D alone if they can stay healthy.

nikkins- get your ass back to the fryer and quit worrying about the number to the red phone....

SDG -2 1/2 (1H)..................Giants have been given a lot of unforced TO's this season and that is largely responsible for their 2-0 start, as they have been outgained substantially in both games. This IS the season for SDG. I will give them 1 more chance to put it together. They have played good 1st halves only to fall flat in the 4th quarters. No need to worry about that in this one. Like fading the Giants off a Monday night W and a cross country trip on a short week. SDG will play like this is the season, or they are cheech and chonged for the season (up in smoke for those movie challenged). Crowd is a great crowd in SDG when it's charged up and is a nice home field advantage.

JML, shark- THX!.....under the weather this weekend....don't like much today anyway....

JAX +3 -120.........................Martin isn't 100% and the Jags run the ball better than the Jets, IMO, anyway. Should be a close, low scoring game...total is too low or too close to the number to play, IMO.
JAX-17 NYJ-13

NO/MIN over45....................NO has put up a lot of yardage in their first 2 games, just comitted way too many TO's to convert that yardage to points. MIN has a very weak D, and i have a hunch Culpepper might get on track today at home vs. an average Saints defense.
MIN- 31 NO-24

OAK/PHI over45......................each team should get theirs, IMO.
PHI-31 OAK-20

NE +3
NE-24 PIT-20

i don't ever recall a day where i have been on the wrong end of turnovers in EVERY F'ing game i am playing today.....Bears outgain Cincy but have 7 turnovers.....TO's inside redzone in the PHI/OAK under....Jags almost piss away the game with a TO late in regulation, and now the Patriots doing their best to not put points on the board with TO's inside the red zone.....not even forced turnovers...just freekin' stupid ass plays.....:puke:
