My sincerest apologies to those I offended or pissed off regarding something I said in a post in the NFL Week 1 thread and for a misunderstanding in the NCAA Football week 1 thread as well regarding a cancel wager on two plays.
I don't try and offend folks and I'm sorry for that.
I have no feud with TiredofPaying and wish to end it at that.
I was a newbie when I came here and I posted a thread twice where it didn't need to be. I was corrected by Queen and also told something in a thread by ToP to read the rules and be careful on posting the threads.
I'm not the brightest light bulb in the box when it comes to computer stuff, so I was learning how to post a thread in it's appropriate place, without duplicating it and so on and so forth.
I had made a jest comment in an NCAA Basketball picks thread asking what a person's record to date was. If you read the posted forum rules the mods have put there, it's not required that you keep your year to date record, however it would be nice so that newbies to the forum like I was once, would know how the capper has done.
I'm going all out here and say that 97% of the forum invests in making a wager of some sort in sports, but I could be wrong on that assumption I reckon.
I also know that reputable bookmakers, both online(off-shore), in Vegas, Henderson, Reno, etc., and your backyard, at least the good ones that I know, will allow a person to cancel a bet or reverse the wager, for example, taking a game say it's Dakota State U and you take them for 1 unit vs Potato University. Then you decide there is too much information that will make the outcome not what you want for Dakota State U and you decide to go with Potato U instead. What you'd do in that regard is put a wager in on Potato U and lose the wager you put on Dakota State U should Potato U cover that wager. Do you understand? God I hope I made that part clear as silly as it sounds in writing...heheehe...I did take the two games I posted as losses, losing .1 unit of juice on each game. I didn't post the opposite teams they played, so I hope that was understood by everyone. I had also stated that I would update that thread and those selections before they kicked off. I hope everyone read that!
In the late 90's, AOL had a post your picks message board for each sport and Kevin, AJPhilly and many others that are here in the UC forum, used to posts their plays and opinions there just as I did. There were many great cappers there. I used to weekly update how those that put in their selections that week did, versus the closing line that scoresandodds or whatever lineservice that would post the closing lines, and keep each persons record in one thread on how they did for that entire week. Gully35, Alascott, Underdog (can't remember his full screen name) Kiddzman, Eddie831, Thesul10, etc., etc., tons of folks, Merfmiles too, all posted there weekly until personal publisher came along and we all started our own personal web pages where we could post our picks. Best of all it was free to all that viewed the pyp boards too. With all the shennanigans that entailed for the next couple of years, the boards became a game for kids (immature adults) that would rant and rave, bash and so on and so forth about folks' picks and so on and so forth. Sore losers so to speak. I'll admit I bashed someone in threads, when I was bashed in my thread, but I only dished out what was pointed in my thread and I backed it up everytime. Finally after years of folks screwing up the boards, AOL banned the boards basically.
This forum by far is the best on the net. I will say that I still correspond and follow other sports news and information networks we have on the net as well, but UC is by far #1 in my book. And for that, I'm thankful to be given the opportunity to post my opinions and picks just as you all do.

Yomonte, HomeDawg, ToP, Rothko, I'm truly sorry I got you all pissed and in an uproar about anything!! I'm willing to put this all aside if you all are. If yall don't wanna put it behind us, then so be it, that's your perogative and given right. I'll stay out of you're alls threads, you stay outta mine, or we can all be civil and be gentlemen and put this all behind us. We all got in an uproar in another names thread in major league baseball this summer and I'm quite surprised that person is still around, anyways, I bark more than I bite and I'm truly sorry for any misunderstanding that has taken place and for asking ToP for his record some 7 months or so back.
Ya'll take care and good luck this season in whatever sport your investments go!
