Cards/Pirates Wednesday Afternoon

Just a quick thought and play on this game.

Pitts +1.5 or Pitts +162

Cards magic number is 2. They are heading to Chicago on Thursday for a 4-game set, Mulder was quoted as saying "It would be nice to clinch it in Chicago!" the other day. I think this is the sentiment for most of the cardinals teams due to the huge rilvary they have with each other.

They are at home but are playing early so there is really no way for them to clinch it during their game with a Houston loss and their win.

So I think they may hold back a bit today making the Pirates a good value play here. Plus Marquis has been hot and cold of late.

I am personally playing it on the RL at +1.5 for some added insurance.

Pujouls may sit with nagging leg injury today too. John Gall??? is hitting clean-up for the cards too. Taguchi playing CF instead of Edmonds. H. Luna in Right.

So cards have weak lineup today too making this a better play.

Nice catch woodee!! Been busy, so I cut the Pirates as a play because we all know that they have nothing to fight for... but yeah that weak lineup definately swings things in favor the Pirates! I hope they hold on for you. :thumbs:
