IF you asked me Chris Carpenter 21-4 2.21 ERA takes another easy step towards winning his first Cy Young Award. He is 3-0 against the Pirates this year posting a 1.50 ERA. Snell 0-2, 6.84 ERA hasn't started a game since August 7 when he gave up 7 runs in 2 innings against the Dodgers.

Capuano is 10-4 on the road this season. Vazquez has only won 3 games at home this season.

Byrd has won all 6 of his career starts against the Mariners and all 3 this year. He last faced them September 2 when he held them to 1 run and 5 hits in 8 innings of a 4-1 win.

Nationals(Washington) Carrasco
Mets(NY) Glavine -170 LOSS

Mets have almost been unbeatable in home series openers this season at 18-4.

Cardinals I do not know what to say about. Been burned on the -1.5 two nights in a row with starts from Mulder and Carpenter barely winning 1 run games over the pirates? lol

Angels suck. This team can't score any freaking runs dropping 2 in a row against the M's???

Had a real good shot to win all 7 of these games.
