IF you asked me Chris Carpenter 21-4 2.21 ERA takes another easy step towards winning his first Cy Young Award. He is 3-0 against the Pirates this year posting a 1.50 ERA. Snell 0-2, 6.84 ERA hasn't started a game since August 7 when he gave up 7 runs in 2 innings against the Dodgers.
