UEFA Champions League
1* Inter Milan (Italy) (AH -1/2) (-231) Over Artmedia Petralzka (Slovakia) - 2:45 PM
Inter Milan should be looking for redemption here after a poor loss in league play over the weekend. In the first game of group play in the Champions League they head to Slovakia to face the suprise group team Artemedia who somehow shocked the world in qualifying destroying Celtic. Inter is just better in every position and I expect guys like Adriano, Cruz, Recoba, Samuel,.Stankovic and others to have a great game. Inter should win this one as Artmedia is probably the weakest of group teams in this years CL.
1* Olympiakos (Greece) (AH -1/2) (-270) Over Rosenborg BK (Norway) - 2:45 PM
Betting this one off the form of Rosenborg. The once proud Norwegian Champion is now facing a daunting task this season as just about everything has gone wrong for them. They are dangerously close from relegation zone in league play as they sit just 5 pts ahead of the last place team. Over the weekend Rosenborg lead 2-0 before losing 3-2 on the road. This season on the road they have been awful at 3-6-1 and have been hammered of late. Olympiakos are in solid form after two games into the season. The won there two games by a combined 7-0 and one of those wins were on the road against fellow CL team Panathinaikos 2-0. Olympiakos should have a very nice advantage at home. With Rosenborg's struggles this season this is a golden oppurtunity for Olympiakos.
1* Lyon (France) (AH +1/2) (-220) Over Real Madrid (Spain) - 2:45 PM
Even after losing some serious star power Lyon continues to control the French league as they are currently in very solid form. A tough team to crack Lyon they've only given up 3 goals in 6 games. I took this offer at 5Dimes at the +1/2 goal cause I believe Real will have a hard time in this game. Now this offer won't be seen at all books cause at almost all Lyon is the favorite by a slight amount. 5Dimes just offered both so I took it. Real will be without a handful of players for this CL game as Ronaldo is suspended and Zidane is injured. There are 3 or 4 other players that are gametime decisions with slight knocks. Over the weekend Real lost a heartbreaking game to league newcomer Celta de Vigo 3-2. There team was said to look extremely weak in the midfield and defense. Lyon will walk away with at least a draw in this one if not take the win. That's why I took the +1/2 goal in this one.
